Lehigh Valley Heritage Center

The Lehigh Valley Heritage Center is a museum, a research library and the headquarters of the Lehigh County Historical Society (LCHS), one of the largest historical societies in the United States. 

 

The  30,000 square foot museum is home to over 35,000 historic artifacts, 80,000 photographs and over 3 million documents. Some of these items are on display in the museum's six different galleries. 

 

In addition to the museum, the LCHS runs six historic sites which include a Colonial mansion, a Pennsylvania-German farm, and a 19th century school house.
